Report: Manchester City target Sane to wait until after Euros to decide future
Manchester City target Leroy Sane will apparently wait until after Euro 2016 before making up his mind over whether to pursue a transfer away from FC Schalke 04.
Sane is currently with the German national team in France, and is expected to decide his future once the defending World Cup champions' Euro campaign is over, a source revealed to Jonathan Smith of ESPNFC.
The 20-year-old has yet to make an appearance at the Euros through three matches. He's been linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium since he was reportedly identified by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola as a primary transfer target.
City could face competition from local rival Manchester United, however, as well as Bayern Munich, to secure the winger's services.
Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel was recently forced to deny rumours suggesting the two teams were on the verge of completing a deal worth up to £40 million.
Speculation over his future comes after Sane's impressive 2015-16 Bundesliga campaign when he found the back of the net nine times in 42 appearances.
