Watch: Germany's Boateng desperately clears Ukraine effort off goal line

Germany defender Jerome Boateng saved himself from scoring a potential own goal Sunday, kicking the ball off the line as he fell backwards into the net.

It was a spectacular sight toward the end of the first half, with Ukraine pressing for an equaliser.

The men in yellow appealed for the goal, but replays showed Boateng cleared the ball just before it crossed the mouth of the goal.
