Hummels puts pen to paper on contract at Bayern Munich
Mats Hummels is officially back in Munich, Germany.
After Bayern Munich announced nearly two weeks ago that the club agreed to terms to bring Hummels to the Allianz Arena in time for the 2016-17 season, the German centre-back signed a five-year contract Monday, after undergoing the obligatory pre-transfer medical.

Hummels, a product of Bayern's youth academy, played his final minutes for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, when the Bavarian club defeated Thomas Tuchel's side in a penalty shootout to win the 2015-16 DFB-Pokal. He was substituted in the 78th minute fixture and subsequently denied the manager's claim that he had asked to be replaced, saying he felt "extremely bitter" about not completing his final match for Dortmund.
