Sebastian Fundora and Errol Spence Jr. agreed to fight for Fundora's WBC junior middleweight championship in October in Dallas, sources told ESPN's Mike Coppinger.

An exact date hasn't been set. PBC wants to stage the Prime Video pay-per-view event at AT&T Stadium as long as the date doesn't interfere with the Dallas Cowboys' home schedule.

Fundora captured the WBC and WBO junior middleweight titles with a surprise split-decision win over Tim Tszyu in March in the main event of PBC's inaugural Prime Video pay-per-view card. Fundora stepped in on 12 days' notice, replacing Keith Thurman. With the victory, Fundora, 26, bounced back from the first loss of his pro career and moved to 21-1 overall.

Spence, a former WBA, WBC, and IBF welterweight champion, is moving up to 154 pounds for the first time. The 34-year-old is coming off a lopsided ninth-round TKO loss to Terence Crawford in a highly anticipated fight last July for the undisputed 147-pound title. It was Spence's first defeat. He began his career with 28 straight wins and had been a mainstay in the pound-for-pound rankings.
