Devin Haney dominated George Kambosos Jr. with a unanimous-decision victory to become the undisputed lightweight champion at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

Two judges scored it 116-112 for Haney, while the third had it 118-110.

Haney utilized his jab effectively throughout the bout, keeping Kambosos at bay and limiting his ability to do much damage.

As part of the negotiations for the fight, Kambosos carries an immediate rematch clause for a return match with Haney later this year in Australia, according to ESPN's Mike Coppinger.

Haney is the first undisputed lightweight champion since Pernell Whitaker accomplished the feat during the three-belt era in 1990, according to boxing insider Dan Rafael.

With the win, Haney (28-0, 15 KOs) adds the WBA, IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight titles to his WBC lightweight crown.

The loss is the first of Kambosos' career.
