Anthony Joshua has found his next opponent.

Andy Ruiz has agreed to terms to fight the unified heavyweight champion in New York on June 1, sources told Fox Sports' Mike Coppinger.

Ruiz will be replacing Jarrell Miller, who was denied a boxing license after failing multiple pre-fight drug tests.

Michael Hunter and Luis Ortiz were also speculated to be in the mix as potential opponents for Joshua.

Ruiz (32-1) most recently fought in April, beating Alexander Dimitrenko, and won by decision against Kevin Johnson in 2018. He previously lost to Joseph Parker in 2016 for the then-vacant WBO heavyweight title.

Joshua (22-0) is coming off a seventh-round KO of Alexander Povetkin in September at Wembley Stadium in England. The 29-year-old currently holds the WBA (Super), IBP, WBO, and IBO titles.

The matchup will mark Joshua's first fight outside of the United Kingdom and will be his seventh title defense.

The bout will be streamed on DAZN.
