Oscar De La Hoya was targeted by angry fans following the first showdown between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.

Speaking to TMZ Sports ahead of Saturday's rematch, De La Hoya revealed he received death threats over the match ending in a controversial draw.

"You have no idea how many threats I received because it was a draw," De La Hoya said. "People don't wanna see a draw or people don't wanna see a close decision, they wanna see knockouts ... People thought that I fixed it, as the promoter."

De La Hoya admitted he's nervous heading into the rematch and feels similar to how he would if he were entering the ring himself. He also said he's hoping for a knockout this time around.
