Mayweather tops Forbes' highest-paid celebrities list

Floyd Mayweather Jr. now owns the title of world's highest-paid celebrity.

The retired boxer beat out George Clooney, Kylie Jenner, Judy Sheindlin, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for the top spot on Forbes' annual list of the wealthiest celebrities with earnings of $285 million.

Mayweather, who also topped Forbes' list of the highest-paid athletes for 2018, joined Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods as the only athletes to reach $1 billion in career earnings following his fight against Conor McGregor. The bout generated more than $550 million in revenue.
