With his Nike contract complete, the Swiss tennis superstar has reportedly inked a new apparel deal with Uniqlo that's worth over $300 million, sources told ESPN's Darren Rovell.

Federer was sporting Uniqlo gear ahead of his opening match at Wimbledon on Monday, though Rovell reports that he was still wearing his Nike shoes.

Prior to inking the new deal, Federer had been with Nike for nearly 25 years. Nike was apparently offered a chance to match the Uniqlo offer but declined, according to Rovell.

The 36-year-old opened his quest for a ninth Wimbledon championship with a straight-set victory over Dusan Lajovic on Monday.
