USC head coach Andy Enfield is expected to sign a deal to become SMU's bench boss, a source told Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68.

Enfield has led the Trojans over the past 11 seasons.

USC went 15-18 this campaign despite adding several top-100 recruits, including Bronny James and Isaiah Collier.

Enfield came to Southern California after spending two seasons as Florida Gulf Coast's head coach. He helped the Eagles earn a spot in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.

Enfield recruited two prospects to USC who became top-10 NBA draft picks - Onyeka Okongwu and Evan Mobley. He also led the school to five NCAA tourney appearances.

SMU compiled a 20-13 record in 2023-24 and finished fifth in the AAC under head coach Rob Lanier. The program hasn't made March Madness since 2017.

The Mustangs will join the ACC for the start of the 2024-25 season.
