BIG3 founder and CEO Ice Cube made an offer to Iowa star Caitlin Clark to play in the 3-on-3 league.

The offer is worth $5 million to play eight games and potentially two playoff contests this summer, sources told TMZ Sports. Clark would reportedly also receive "substantial additional compensation" from merchandising and sponsorships.

Ice Cube confirmed on social media that an offer was made.

The BIG3 would reportedly allow Clark to play in WNBA contests. The 22-year-old declared for the draft in February and is largely expected to go first overall to the Indiana Fever in April.

Clark is still playing collegiate games, helping lead No. 1 Iowa to a Sweet 16 matchup against Colorado on Saturday.

Ice Cube cited the success of female coaches in the league, including Hall of Famers Nancy Lieberman and Lisa Leslie winning championships in back-to-back years.

"With our offer, Caitlin Clark can make history and break down even more barriers for women athletes," he said.
