Duan beats King in Jiangxi Open for 1st WTA title

NANCHANG, China - China's Duan Yingying battled back from a set down to beat American Vania King 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the final of the Jiangxi Open on Sunday for her first career title.
It took Duan two hours and two minutes to secure the hard-fought victory over her sixth-seeded opponent at the Nanchang International Sports Center.
The home favorite served up eight aces on her way to the title.
196628King was playing in her first final of the year and her first since 2013.
