Jorge Luis Pinto guided Costa Rica to its best performance at a World Cup, managing the side to within penalty kicks of a semifinal appearance in Brazil, but he won't be navigating the club any further.
The Colombian-born manager failed to negotiate a deal with the Costa Rican Football Federation, and will leave to pursue other opportunities.
The Tico Times reports that Pinto has received offers from South American sides Ecuador, Venezuela and Peru.
