France may have succumbed to eventual champions Germany at the 2014 World Cup, but Paul Pogba is leaving Brazil with some hardware to commemorate his tournament.

The 21-year-old has been named the best young player of the competition by FIFA.

Despite being held out of one match by manager Didier Deschamps, the Juventus star was the best midfielder for Les Bleus, who were very impressive before falling to Germany in the quarterfinal stage.

Pogba's incredible range of passing was on display throughout the tournament, and he also scored the winning goal against Nigeria in the Round of 16 contest.

He certainly has a very bright future ahead of him, and could be among the candidates for the best overall player four years from now in Russia.
