Daniel Sturridge: Scores in 2-0 Europa League win
Sturridge scored a goal on three shots, two on target, after he successfully converted a penalty in the 20th minute in Thursday's 2-0 Europa League Round of 16 win over Manchester United.
Analysis:
Sturridge and the Liverpool offense took advantage of a Manchester United defense that simply didn't look up to the task. This performance certainly bodes well for Sturridge's value moving forward as they will play Manchester United once again next Thursday in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16. Sturridge is proving that as long as he can stay healthy, he's a dangerous goal-scoring threat who needs to have fantasy consideration.
