Klopp not overly concerned by Sturridge's hamstring injury
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Daniel Sturridge is injured again.
A hamstring injury is the latest knock to sideline the English forward, but the German boss revealed Wednesday that the injury is not considered serious and again insisted the team needs to help Sturridge learn how to be more "resistant" to such injuries.
While Klopp didn't provide a timetable for Sturridge's return, reports earlier in the day suggested the 26-year-old is expected to miss two weeks and should be available during the busy holiday schedule.
The reported two-week projection without Sturridge could see him miss matches against Sion in the Europa League and a pair of Premier League contests against West Bromwich and Watford.
Sturridge suffered the injury during Liverpool's 2-0 loss to Newcastle after coming on as a second-half substitute.
