Steven Pienaar: Seeing promise in recovery

Pienaar (hamstring) says that there is light at the end of a long, dark injury tunnel, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Analysis:

Pienaar has made just one Everton appearance since last December. The 33-year-old made just 11 total appearances last season, however, according to manager Roberto Martinez he'd been showing fantastic signs of improvement before his injury. He'll continue to recover as he looks to regain his fitness and see the pitch this season.
