Olympiacos, however briefly, had life in the Europa League thanks to Tarik Elyounoussi's acrobatics.
Down 3-1 on aggregate and 2-0 on the night at Besiktas, the Greek outfit managed to pull one back.
Elyounoussi somehow wrapped himself around a hopeful cross from Aly Cissokho before striking a sweet volley. It was helped into the net by a deflection, but the effort was spectacular nonetheless.
Despite losing Vincent Aboubakar to a red card at the end of the first half, however, Besiktas would not be on the wrong end of a comeback.
Ryan Babel scored his second goal of the evening and Cenk Tosun slipped in an insurance marker to confirm a 4-1 win for the Turkish side.
