Ajax bounces Legia Warsaw to continue superb home form
For the second time in three years, Amsterdam giant Ajax is off to the last 16 of Europe's second-tier tourney.
Peter Bosz's Ajax side dispatched Legia Warsaw 1-0 on Thursday to go 13 matches unbeaten at home across all competitions and book a spot in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Once-capped Dutchman Nick Viergever was the unexpected hero at the Amsterdam ArenA after Amin Younes' limp left-footed effort was parried by Legia 'keeper Arkadiusz Malarz directly into the path of the unmarked defender.
Coincidentally, Viergever's last goal for the club was during the Europa League Round of 32 in 2015, also against the defending Polish champ.
Ajax went on the win that tie 4-0 on aggregate before losing to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the next round.
