Manchester United's Antonio Valencia: United exercises contract option
Valencia will remain with Manchester United an additional year after the club exercised the player's contract option.
Analysis:
The midfielder has made 271 appearances with 21 goals since joining from Wigan in 2009. He is also making a place for himself in manager Jose Mourinho's starting lineup, starting 23 times in all competitions. He will be with the club until June of 2018.
