Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge: Scores in victory
Sturridge scored one goal on one shot in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over Stoke City.
Analysis:
Sturridge entered the match in the 69th minute and within moments scored The Reds' fourth goal. The Potters' Ryan Shawcross sent a blind pass back that was easily intercepted by Sturridge who beat the Potters' keeper, Lee Grant, and easily finished for his first Premier League goal of the season. Sturridge has only started four matches this season and will likely continue his role off the bench Saturday against Manchester City.
