Middlesbrough set to sign Viktor Fischer from Ajax
Slated for a return to the Premier League after a seven-year absence, Middlesbrough has began bolstering its squad, luring Danish winger Viktor Fischer from Ajax as its first signing of the summer.
Fischer will join 'Boro for a reported fee of £3.8 million on a three-year deal when the international transfer window opens on June 9.
Ajax released a statement on its website Friday, saying, "Ajax and Middlesbrough FC have reached agreement on the transfer of Viktor Fischer. The transition to the English club is available immediately."

The eight-time capped international has since made 111 appearances for Ajax in all competitions, twice lifting the Eredivisie title in 2013 and 2014 paired with the domestic double in 2013.
