PHOTO: Mario Balotelli expresses love for Palermo with picture of different city

Ever proud of his Sicilian roots, AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli took to Instagram to post a loving tribute to Palermo, his birthplace and where he lived before moving to Lombardy at the age of two.

Unfortunately for the 25-year-old, his emotional message was accompanied by a picture of Cefalu, a town around 50 miles east of his hometown:

A fellow Instagram user helpfully pointed out his error, prompting the forward to add the following in parenthesis to his original captain: "It's still a photo of Sicily."

Perhaps Balotelli isn't a man focused on anything resembling accuracy, as his recent efforts from open play for the Rossoneri show.
