Carpi forward Marco Borriello is reportedly keen on a switch to Major League Soccer, according to his agent, Andrea D'Amico.

Borriello has been left out of the Carpi team for a Serie A fixture against Udinese and, with playing time now at a premium, D'Amico says MLS is "a possibility" for the 33-year-old striker.

"Marco has several different possibilities," D'Amico told Sportitalia, as quoted by ESPN FC. "He's a professional sportsman and has earned 7/10 ratings for several of his performances and he is still very hungry and can still achieve a lot yet."

D'Amico has reportedly already held talks with a pair of MLS teams, which ESPN FC says could be Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact. They are two clubs D'Amico has worked with in the past, as he orchestrated moves for both Sebastian Giovinco and Marco Donadel.

Borriello has also been linked with a return to his former club, Genoa, but D'Amico was quick to silence talk on that topic.

"(As for Genoa), I rather talk about serious things rather than predictions," he said. "I only care about facts and as things stand, there are divergences. (MLS) is a possibility."
