Milan expects Balotelli back from injury by end of January

AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic said Mario Balotelli should return to action by the end of January, as the striker continues to recover from a debilitating groin injury.
Balotelli had been expected to recover in time for the Serie A restart, but he is still training separately from the team.
"When Balotelli is fit, he will (be) back in full training. He should be back by mid-January or towards the end of the month," said Mihajlovic.
The 25-year-old, who is on loan from Liverpool, has only appeared four times for the Rossoneri this season.
Teammate Jeremy Menez, meanwhile, has missed the entire campaign with a back problem. Mihajlovic also confirmed that the Frenchman is close to his own comeback.
