Maurizio Zamparini has struck again.
Palermo sacked manager Giuseppe Iachini, the longest-serving manager under the club's trigger-happy owner, on Tuesday.
Iachini, a lover of hats, is the 29th manager to be sacked under Zamparini and will be replaced by Davide Ballardini, who served as Palermo's tactician between 2008-09. Ballardini put pen to paper on a contract through June 30, 2016.
Palermo sits 12th in Serie A through 12 matchdays. However, a 1-0 defeat at Chievo Verona on Sunday marked the club's fourth straight fixture without a victory and third consecutive defeat.
