Roma's Seydou Keita out another 5 weeks with thigh injury

Roma midfielder Seydou Keita will miss another five weeks of action as he recovers from a lingering thigh injury, the club confirmed Wednesday.
Keita initially suffered the problem during Roma's 5-1 win over Carpi on Sept. 26. The 35-year-old missed subsequent games against BATE Borisov and Palermo.
The Giallorossi did indicate in a statement that Keita is making "good progress," but further tests determined the full extent of the injury.
Unless he recovers ahead of schedule, the prognosis means he'll miss big games against Bayer Leverkusen (Oct. 20, Nov. 4), Fiorentina (Oct. 25), Inter Milan (Oct. 31), and Lazio (Nov. 8).
