Inter waited until the very last minute to confirm the signing of Roma winger Adem Ljajic on loan with an option to buy.
Inter will pay €1.75 million up front for the initial loan, with a buyout clause set at a further €11 million, according to Roma's official website.
Ljajic joins an Inter side with a revamped attack that includes forward Stevan Jovetic and winger Ivan Perisic.
"Ljajic knows Serie A very well and that will help him slot into our squad easily," Inter president Erick Thohir told the club's official website. "With his attacking skills and determined approach, he has what it takes to perform at the highest level and I'm sure he will do that at Inter."
The 23-year-old was Roma's top scorer in Serie A last season with eight goals.
