Udinese will part ways with manager Andrea Stramaccioni at end of June
Andrea Stramaccioni's time at Udinese is coming to an end.
The club announced Monday that they will not exercise an option to bring the 39-year-old back next season, opting instead to part ways with the former Inter bench boss.
Stramaccioni's deal with the club will officially come to an end on June 30.
"Udinese Calcio announces that a meeting between the directors and Coach Andrea Stramaccioni held today ended with the club deciding not to exercise the option of a contract renewal for the 2015/16 season," the club said in a statement.
"Therefore the relationship with the Coach will stop at its natural end on 30 June 2015.
"Udinese Calcio thanks Andrea Stramaccioni for the work he has done."
Stramaccioni arrived at the Stadio Friuli last summer, but will depart after guiding the club to a 16th-place finish in Serie A - their worst season since achieving promotion ahead of the 1995-96 campaign.
