Inter Milan president eager to pursue Yaya Toure

Inter Milan appear to be the front-runners to sign Yaya Toure this summer after numerous members have publicly expressed their desire to lure the midfielder away from Manchester City.

The Italian club's president, Erick Thohir, is the latest member to express an interest in the Ivorian, indicating that a bid for Toure could be in the works during the summer transfer window.

"Chances? I do not know. What is clear is we will continue to try to bring him here," Thohir was quoted as saying to Indonesian outlet Tempo.

Toure's departure from the Etihad Stadium looks imminent at this point, especially since his agent estimates there being a 90 percent chance he leaves Manchester City.

Thohir joins Inter Milan general director Marco Fassone and manager Roberto Mancini, who coached Toure at City, as high-ranking members of the Serie A team to express an interest in procuring the midfielder's services.
