Paul Pogba renews contract at Juventus until 2019

In a move that will have Europe's top clubs trembling in their cleats, Juventus have secured the services of Paul Pogba for the foreseeable future.

Pogba, whose previous contract was set to expire in 2016, was the driving force of Juventus' midfield last season, providing the club with an unparalleled defensive presence ahead of their backline, while also establishing himself as a goal-scoring threat from seemingly anywhere on the pitch.

The 21-year-old's 2014-15 campaign - yes, he's still only 21 - is going equally well. He's notched one goal and one assist through six Serie A appearances and is continuing to bring defensive prowess, creativity, and ruthless passes to Massimiliano Allegri's side.

Manchester United's inability to reach a new deal with Pogba back in July 2012 is looking worse and worse with each passing day.
