Juventus completes loan signing of Roberto Pereyra from Udinese
Juventus announced the signing of versatile midfielder Roberto Pereyra on Friday, bringing the 23-year-old aboard on a season-long loan from Udinese.
The deal, initially worth €1.5 million this season, could rise to €15.5 million if Juventus decide to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season. Should the Bianconeri ultimately go in that direction, the additional €14 million will be paid over a three-year period.
The Argentine, 23, is capable of playing multiple positions in the midfield, and will provide manager Massimiliano Allegri with another good option off the bench as his side looks to compete on three different fronts this season (Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League).
In 36 league matches with Udinese last season, Pereyra scored two goals and added six assists.
