One of football's ultimate good guys is getting ready to call it a career.
Antonio Di Natale announced he will retire at the end of the season following Udinese's 3-1 loss to Hellas Verona at home on Monday.
Di Natale indicated he had already spoken about the decision with his family.
Di Natale made 311 appearances for Udinese over nine years and registered 162 goals. He has 42 caps for Italy and scored 11 times on the international level.
The 36-year-old Naples native scored at least 16 more goals, 107 in total, than any other player in Serie over the last five seasons, according to Who Scored.
