Gonzalo Higuain may not have celebrated his two goals in Wednesday's Coppa Italia semi-final at Napoli's Stadio San Paolo, but brother Nicola has no problem gloating for him.

In a series of tweets, Nicola Higuain taunted Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who accused Gonzalo of betraying the Partenopei after accepting a €90-million transfer to Juventus last summer.

Despite a 3-2 defeat to Napoli on the night, the Bianconeri advanced to the Coppa Italia final 5-4 on aggregate.

"How I love to see Aurelio's face every time my brother scores. Until next time, president!" Nicola tweeted from his account.

He later said De Laurentiis blocked him on Twitter, adding, "Imagine how important I am in your thoughts."

While Gonzalo expressed significant self-restraint to avoid celebrating either of his goals on a second emotional night in four days - his first match back in the port city finished 1-1 on Sunday - he appeared to point in the direction of De Laurentiis with a menacing look on his face.

"It's your fault," Higuain is believed to have shouted, according to Italian daily Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 29-year-old Argentine, who has scored four goals against his ex-teammates this season, claimed after his acrimonious departure that he left Napoli because of De Laurentiis.

"It was my decision to leave, but it was (De Laurentiis) who pushed me into making it," Higuain said in July. "I'd like to thank the fans and my teammates, but not De Laurentiis. I no longer had a relationship with him. I couldn't stand another minute with him."
