Torino confirms Lyanco will arrive from Sao Paulo in summer
Torino revealed it completed the signing of Lyanco, 20, on Wednesday, with the player set to arrive in Piedmont at the start of July.
Lyanco reportedly cost an initial €6 million plus €2 million in performance-related bonuses, and Torino is believed to have beaten Juventus in acquiring the youngster.
The centre-back has racked up 21 appearances and scored one goal for Sao Paulo, and is also a nine-time Brazil Under-20 international. He was unfortunately part of the group which failed to qualify for this year's Under-20 World Cup in South Korea.
In Torino, Lyanco will join a side which has been susceptible defensively in the 2016-17 Serie A campaign. Ahead of loanee goalkeeper Joe Hart, veterans Emiliano Moretti and Luca Rossettini are currently the preferred choices in the middle of a back four. Moretti is out of contract at the end of the season.
