Italian outfit Pescara announced Tuesday the club has parted ways with head coach Massimo Oddo, with president Daniele Sebastiani delivering the news and ending a tenure that sees his team sit bottom of Serie A with just one win.

Pescara added that the team will take instruction from Luciano Zauri until a final decision is made regarding the next head coach.

Oddo took over with the club in 2015, replacing Marco Baroni with one game remaining in the 2014-15 campaign. In the following year, he guided Pescara to promotion, but Serie A has not been quite so kind to the former Italy player.

Pescara and Crotone share the misfortune of leading the league in losses, with 17 each over 24 matches. The Abruzzo-based side has lost its last six matches in a row, and its only win under Oddo this season came on Aug. 28 when it defeated Sassuolo 3-0.
