Watch: Napoli rocks Milan with 2 quick goals, holds on for key win
Someone forgot to tell AC Milan that Saturday's match against Napoli started at 2:45 p.m. (ET).
The Rossoneri were torn to shreds in the opening exchanges at the San Siro, as Lorenzo Insigne (above) and Jose Callejon struck in the sixth and ninth minutes, respectively, to give the high-flying Partenopei an early advantage.
Juraj Kucka pulled a goal back, and Milan made a valiant comeback effort in the second half, but by that point the damage had been done, as Maurizio Sarri's side held on for a 2-1 win.
The victory sees Napoli move provisionally to second place in the table, one point adrift of idle Juventus - though the Bianconeri will still have one game in hand after Sunday's encounter against Lazio.
Milan, meanwhile, could drop down to seventh should both bitter rival Inter and surprise package Atalanta collect three points on Sunday.
