Napoli attacker Jose Callejon has extended his stay with I Ciucciarelli for two additional years after putting pen to paper on a new deal Thursday.

Callejon, 29, was already under contract at the Stadio San Paolo through 2018, and now will be part of the Neapolitan's plans until at least the summer of 2020, the club announced on its website.

Following a move from Real Madrid in 2013, Callejon has been one of Napoli's most consistent first-team players.

In three seasons, the underrated Callejon has made no fewer than 37 appearances and has played in all 38 of the club's Serie A matches over the last two seasons.

His debut campaign with Napoli in 2013-14 was highlighted by 15 goals and six assists, and the twice-capped Spanish international has scored 33 times in 113 appearances for the Partnopei in all competitions.
