Udinese has brought in young midfielder Seko Fofana on a five-year contract, ending the Frenchman's three-year association with Manchester City.
No fee has been disclosed by either club for the 21-year-old who spent last season on loan with SC Bastia of Ligue 1, making 32 appearances and scoring one goal. He spent the previous campaign on a temporary spell at Fulham.
Udinese has done business early in the summer transfer window under the management of Giuseppe Iachini. Fofana is the sixth player to be drafted in, and the second from England after Stipe Perica made his stay permanent from Chelsea.
