With another domestic double in the bag and the season in the rearview mirror, Juventus director Beppe Marotta's attention has shifted towards the summer transfer window, where the club has plenty of balls in play.

Primarily, of course, in attack, where the futures of two supremely talented youngsters are set to be determined in the coming weeks.

Marotta, speaking with Sky Sport Italia, was quizzed on the status of burgeoning Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi, who was co-owned by the Bianconeri before being sold outright to the Modena-based club last summer. Speculation has been rife ever since that an agreement exists to eventually bring the exciting 21-year-old Italian back to Turin, and Marotta confirmed as much.

"Berardi is a great talent, there's a verbal agreement with Sassuolo and Juventus have the moral right of first refusal and we're going to complete this deal," Marotta said, via Football Italia.

His attention then turned to Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.

One of the most sought-after names in the transfer market, the 23-year-old's future is entirely dependent on Real Madrid, who are expected to exercise a €35-million buy-back option on the talented attacker this summer.

Whether Los Blancos then sell him on to the highest bidder remains to be seen, but the Juventus director claimed he will work to retain the services of the in-demand forward.

"Morata? He’s becoming a champion, we'll do everything possible to keep him in Turin. Real Madrid’s buy-back clause is like the Sword of Damocles, but we'll meet with them after the Champions League final."
