AC Milan defender Luca Antonelli sidelined with torn calf

Luca Antonelli's Serie A campaign has come to an end after the AC Milan defender partially tore his right calf muscle near the end of Sunday's draw with Frosinone, the club announced Tuesday.

There's no timeline for Antonelli's return yet.

It's a tough break for the 29-year-old Milan academy product, who scored three times in 28 Serie A appearances this year - none prettier than his overhead effort during the 3-3 draw against Frosinone.

The Rossoneri have two league matches and the Coppa Italia final still to play.
