Cavani to miss Napoli's trip to Atalanta

ROME, Oct 30, 2012 (AFP) - Napoli's star striker Edinson Cavani will miss the Serie A high-flyers' trip to Atalanta on Wednesday with an injured right thigh.

The 25-year-old Uruguayan, who played no part in Sunday's 1-0 win over Chievo, was left out of the squad "as a precaution", according to the club's website.

Cavani is the joint-highest scorer in the Italian league this season with six goals alongside AC Milan's Stephan El Shaarawy and Lazio's Miroslav Klose.
