Danny Lee parred the par-5 17th to eliminate David Hearn in the second hole of a four-man playoff for his first career PGA Tour victory at the Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia.

Lee shot a 67 on Sunday to put himself into the playoff with Hearn, Kevin Kisner, and Robert Streb. The high result qualified Lee for the upcoming Open Championship at St. Andrews along with Hearn, James Hahn, and Greg Owen.

This could be a breakthrough for the 24-year-old Kiwi who became the youngest ever to win the U.S. Amateur Championship in 2008, as well as the youngest to win on the European Tour at age 19 when he won the Johnnie Walker Classic in 2009.

Lee capitalized as Hearn faltered, bogeying for the second playoff loss of his PGA career. The 36-year-old failed to become the second Canadian to win on Tour this year after Nick Taylor won the Sanderson Farms Championship in November.

For Kisner, Sunday marked his third playoff loss this season. The 31-year-old lost to Jim Furyk at the RBC Heritage and to Rickie Fowler at The Players Championship. Kisner now has five top-10 finishes in his last eight tournaments.

The most improbable member of the playoff was Streb who broke his putter at the ninth hole. This season's McGladrey Classic champion would go on to birdie five holes on the back nine putting with a 56-degree wedge to tie the clubhouse lead.

Tiger Woods finished six shots back of the leaders, but shot a 67 Sunday for a 7-under 273 for the tournament. It marked the lowest 72-hole of Woods' season in his final tune-up before the Open Championship.

Shot of the Day

The Shot of the Day goes to last week's winner at the Travelers Championship, Bubba Watson, who holed out at the par-4 16th for eagle. The two-time Masters champion finished three shots back at 10-under.

Honorable mention to this 26-foot wedge-putt by Streb.
