Philadelphia, PA - Chris Kirk claimed his fourth PGA Tour win on Sunday at Colonial and that helped him improve to No. 17 in this week's world rankings.

Kirk improved six spots thanks to his come-from-behind victory.

Rory McIlroy missed the cut at Wentworth, but easily retained the No. 1 spot. Jordan Spieth did narrow the gap thanks to a tie for second place behind Kirk.

Henrik Stenson was third again and followed by Bubba Watson, Jim Furyk and Justin Rose. Sergio Garcia and Jason Day exchanged places for the second straight week with Garcia up to seventh and Day down to eighth.

Rickie Fowler remained ninth and was again trailed by Dustin Johnson, Adam Scott, Jimmy Walker, J.B. Holmes, Hideki Matsuyama and Patrick Reed.

U.S. Open champion Martin Kaymer improved two spots to 16th after tying for 18th at Wentworth and was followed by Kirk.

Matt Kuchar and Phil Mickelson were both down two spots to 18th and 19th, respectively. Billy Horschel dipped one to 20th.

Former U.S. Amateur winner Byeong Hun An claimed his first European Tour title at the BMW PGA Championship. He soared 78 spots to No. 54 in the new rankings.

Tiger Woods' freefall, meanwhile, continues. He dropped another 16 spots, from 140th to 156th.
