PGA picks: Horschel the value play in Houston

The final tuneup for The Masters goes this weekend in Texas, as the PGA Tour tees it up at the Shell Houston Open.

While many players in the field at Augusta are skipping the event to prepare for the season's first major, top names like Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson, and Jon Rahm are among those playing this week.

Justin Rose

He's coming off a strong 13th-place showing at Bay Hill, and past success in Houston has him primed for a big week. At 40/1, he's certainly worth a serious wager.

Ollie Schniederjans

With his consistency this season, it's only a matter of time before he gets it rolling for a run at the leaderboard.

Kyle Stanley

A 19th-place showing in last year's event should bring some confidence to the 29-year-old as he looks to maintain his consistent play.
