Biggest upset - Ross Fisher over Hideki Matsuyama
The No. 47 ranked Fisher beat No. 4 Matsuyama 2&1 and never trailed in the match. Fisher birdied the opening hole, expanded the lead to three at the turn and closed out Matsuyama with a birdie at the 17th hole.
Performance of the day - Brooks Koepka
Koepka made seven birdies on Wednesday beating Kevin Kisner 6&5, and was just as good Thursday beating Jason Dufner by the same margin.
Best shot - Si Woo Kim
Kim was 1-down to J.B. Holmes on the final hole and needed to make birdie to halve the match. The 21-year-old's bunker shot hit the flagstick, where he made birdie to tie Holmes.
Punching their ticket
Alex Noren and Soren Kjeldsen are the first two players into the Round of 16. Both players are through with their Friday opponents withdrawing on Thursday.

In two matches, Koepka hasn't played beyond the 13th hole.
Friday's match du jour - Sergio Garcia vs. Jon Rahm
The two Spaniards square off Friday for a berth in the Round of 16. Rahm needs just a point, while Garcia needs to win the match to take the group and advance.
