PGA Picks: Haas goes for the triple at the CareerBuilder
The PGA Tour leaves the beautiful islands of Hawaii and heads for the mainland with the CareerBuilder Challenge in California this week.
Once again it was Jordan Spieth's top-5 finish getting us on the board from last week, but with the star youngster in Asia touring with his new shoe, "The Spieth One," we will have to look elsewhere for our picks this week.
Here's the players to take a shot with for this week's CareerBuilder Challenge at the PGA West TPC Stadium Course:
Favorite to watch (Odds less than 20/1)
Bill Haas
Haas is going for a third title at this event, having captured the crown in 2010 and 2015, and enters in solid form after a 13th place finish last week. The 34-year-old has played four events this season and has yet to finish outside the top 20, so it's a safe bet he will be in contention this weekend.

2nd Tier (Odds greater than 20/1)
Jon Rahm
There's certainly going to be a #RahmThreat in California this weekend, as the long-bombing Spaniard's game fits the PGA West setup perfectly. There is a slight worry with Rahm that he hasn't played since early November, a 50th place finish at Mayakoba, but his game is so good that he should have no problem cranking it up again.

Long shot (Odds greater than 40/1)
Luke List
Luke List has been a model of consistency thus far in 2016-17, registering five straight top-15 finishes. The long-hitting 32-year-old finished tied for sixth in the event last year, and seems primed for a breakthrough showing. He's averaging almost five birdies per round in this young season, a trend that plays well at the TPC Stadium course.

Super long shot (Odds greater than 80/1)
Graham DeLaet
The Canadian hasn't played since early November at the Shriners Hospital for Children Open, but showed good form in the wraparound season with an eighth-place finish at the Sanderson Farms. When he's on his game, DeLaet is among the best ball-strikers on tour. If he gets hot with the putter, expect him to be in contention this weekend.

Hit this best, buy a car (Odds greater than 150/1)
Andrew Loupe
Loupe finished 11th on the PGA Tour last season in birdies per round, averaging 3.97 every time he teed it up. That's an important stat when you consider that 22-under par is the worst score to win this event since 2008. Loupe has yet to play this season, but is certainly worth a long shot bet with 175/1 odds.
