Watch: Tiger Woods cracks joke about his low world ranking

Tiger Woods spent a record 683 weeks as the No. 1 golfer, but now finds himself ranked 897th in the world following a 15-month absence from playing.

He laughed off the embarrassingly low ranking during an appearance on Golf Channel's "Morning Drive" on Tuesday, telling host Damon Hack that his goal for 2017 is to get into the top 1,000 again.

"If I can sneak my way into the top 1,000, I think that it would be a heck of a goal," Woods joked.
