Tiger Woods will reportedly pair up with Phil Mickelson when he makes his long-awaited return to the PGA Tour this coming week.
The 40-year-old will play with his rival in the opening round of the Safeway Open on Thursday, two sources told ESPN's Bob Harig.
Woods hasn't appeared in a tour event since finishing in a tie for 10th at the Wyndham Championship in August 2015.
Mickelson told ESPN.com last month that he was hoping to be paired with Woods at the Safeway Open.
Woods has only been paired with Mickelson 32 times in 1,139 professional rounds.
