Tiger Woods will see you next month.

The 40-year-old was on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Thursday and promised his return to the PGA Tour will take place shortly.

"I'll be there," Woods said, according to ESPN, about the Hero World Challenge, set to begin Dec. 1 in the Bahamas. "I'm playing."

Woods said his game isn't where he wants it to be, but at this point it's about playing in a golf tournament, period.

"I'm shooting the low rounds at home. But I just don't quite feel as quite ready to shoot (63s and 64s) under tournament conditions," Woods said.

Woods is recovering from his second microdiscectomy surgery, but still has plans of breaking Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 majors.
